When we don't sleep properly, we tend to choose foods that give “quick energy.” How many of us are on the endless coffee and sugar wheel just to make it through the day?…especially as parents of young children. You’re captured in a vicious cycle. You need coffee and sugar for energy, but coffee and sugar drag down the quality of our sleep.
